A native of Belleville, author Donna Fantacone still resides in New Jersey today. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English from William Paterson University. She has been American Red Cross Certified in Advanced Lifesaving, is currently renewing certifications for The American Red Cross CPR Certification, AED Certification, First Aid Certified, and Children’s First Aid Certified. She feels everyone should obtain these certifications. She has had to use the skills numerous times, including the Heimlich Maneuver on her son. Donna was a Corporate Safety Officer and Emergency First Responder for 20 years, and is a Rutgers Certified Master Gardener. She also volunteers as a Pre-School Educator at City Green’s Schultheis Farm in Clifton, NJ. She dedicates this book Officer Tony Says, “Be Careful” to her father, Retired Police Officer, State Delegate, Detective and PBA President, Anthony Fantacone.
Illustrator Francesca Leipzig Picone is a native of Manhattan. She grew up in Trenton, New Jersey. Francesca graduated from Kutztown University with a degree in graphic design. She worked as a graphic designer for many years. Francesca has also participated in numerous photography exhibitions and worked as a muralist. She is currently based in New Jersey.
